PISIDIA, Seleuceia. Maximinus I. AD 235-238. Æ (34.5mm, 22.23 g, 10h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right; countermark: N within linear circle within incuse circle / Mên standing right, with foot on bucranium, holding scepter with his right hand, placing left hand on his knee. Von Aulock, Pisidiens –; SNG von Aulock –; SNG BN –; for countermark: Howgego 681. Brown surfaces with touches of green, light roughness. VF. Rare, the type is known on a smaller flan, cf. Von Aulock, Pisidiens 1970-4.
